The Indian Medical Association (IMA) is a national voluntary organization of physicians in India, which looks or cares after the interest of doctors or the well-being of the community at large. It was established in 1928 as the All India Medical Association, and was renamed the “Indian Medical Association” in 1930
IIMSTC is joining hands with Indian Medical Association (IMA/AMS – Under Process) and Electronic Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI) as well to support the critical requirement of technical skills and expertise for deployment and maintenance of medical devices in Hospitals and other relevant situations not only in India but in countries like South Africa. Please find the project proposal attached for your reference.
Project intent: To Create skilled workforce for requirement of medical and para medical professionals through skill training and OJT
Target audience for mobilization: NEET Applicants, PCMB students, Under graduate students and graduate such as BSc (Life science) , Nursing ,BBA &MBA (Hospital administration), Biotechnology, Bio-electronics engineering, B Pharm, BDS (House surgeons), etc.
Content to be included the training: Medical Electronics, AI and ML along with Paramedical concepts
Modality for implementation: To be conducted as diploma course ( Paid Model)
Certification: Joint certification with IMA (AMS – Under Process), ESSCI and IIMSTC
OJT: Diploma with OJT (based on credits) in biomedical industries and hospitals
Placement: Job opportunities in hospitals, aviation and National security forces in India and foreign countries
Role of IMA: To provide support in QP and MC for Para Medics and Medical, AI and ML, conduct assessment and certification.
